A nice, antique Louis XV style fireplace from the late 19th century, ca. 1875. Width 140 cm. So not a small one. The frieze has a nicely carved cartouche. Shell-scrolled endblocks on top of massive, curved jambs. Carrara Statué is a selected Carrara for having a soft white as possible marble, no (cold) bleu-grey veins in it. That makes a difference. Masters of sculpture, like Bernini and Michelangelo were only working with the whitest white Carrara, that's why it is named Statué. Will be delivered with old marble floortiles to make a frontfloor. We have Louis XV style foyer-tiles in stock, to finish the foyer. Best option if you go for a real open fire. Worldwide shipping. Delivery in Europe can be done by Antique Fireplaces First: 'In House Delivery'.
